Too often, healthcare makes families feel powerless—restricted by rules in medical facilities, overwhelmed with red tape, and left unsupported after discharge. As a NICU nurse, lactation consultant, and granddaughter who walked the journey of caregiving, I’ve seen both sides of the system. I believe healthcare should not only treat the patient but also empower the family to care for their loved one—with confidence, compassion, and guidance.
At Women’s Network for Family and Infant Support, we are dedicated to supporting women, newborns, and the elderly—honoring their needs and the support they require. My personal experience caring for my grandfather showed me how difficult it can be to navigate healthcare and support systems. I often got the runaround, which made caring for him far more challenging than it needed to be. This experience fueled my mission: to break down those barriers, provide practical guidance, and build a network that truly supports families—not just pass them along. Our mission is to empower women, nurture families, and strengthen communities.
Our approach is centered on partnership, understanding, and respect for each family’s unique dynamics. We learn about the family’s values, goals, and needs so that our support fits the family's life—not the other way around. We provide education, guidance, and encouragement to help families care for their loved ones with confidence and independence. By fostering connections and collaboration, we create a space where families and professionals can share, learn, and empower one another.
We offer a growing range of services designed to support families and empower women across generations. From lactation guidance and newborn care support to elder care tips, family education, and networking opportunities, we provide the tools and confidence families need to thrive.
Our network is expanding every day—hosting support circles, educational sessions, and community events where women and families can connect, learn, and grow together. We strive to be a resource not only for all families but especially for women—helping them succeed in caring for their loved ones and pursuing their own goals with confidence.
