1.1 By accessing the website, booking, purchasing, or using any services provided by Women’s Network for Family and Infant Support, LLC (LLC), the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Client Service Agreement and Terms of Service.
1.2 If the client does not agree with any portion of this agreement, the client must discontinue the use of services immediately.
1.3 The client acknowledges and consents that the company may collect and use information provided by the client for administrative, service, educational, and marketing purposes. Such communications may include, but are not limited to, electronic mail, physical mail, text messages, telephone calls, or other lawful methods. Clients may opt out of marketing communications by providing written notice. For additional or more specific information regarding privacy and the use of client information, please refer to the company’s Privacy Policy.
1.4 Data collected by the company may also be used for educational and professional purposes. All data collected for these purposes will be non-identifiable and shall not include personal information such as names, telephone numbers, physical addresses, or other identifying measures. Data will never be sold to third parties, except in the event of a company buyout, transfer, or growth, in which case data may be transferred. Clients may opt out of such data collection and use it by providing written notice to the company. For additional or more specific information regarding privacy and the use of client information, please refer to the company’s Privacy Policy.
2.1 The term “Company” refers to Women’s Network for Family and Infant Support, LLC.
2.2 The term “Client” refers to the individual or individuals receiving services from the company.
2.3 The term “Services” refers to all services offered by the company, including, but not limited to, lactation consultations, classes, workshops, group sessions, networking opportunities, and related educational or supportive activities.
2.4 The term “Agreement” refers to this Client Service Agreement and Terms of Service.
3.1 Women’s Network for Family and Infant Support, LLC is a woman-owned business that provides support to families through:
a. Lactation consultation;
b. Education;
c. Community sessions; and
d. Networking opportunities.
3.2 Services may include in-home and virtual consultations, classes, support groups, and community engagement activities.
3.3 The company does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or any other protected status under applicable law.
4.1 Client Rights:
a. Receive support that respects personal values, culture, and feeding goals;
b. Receive clear information regarding services, benefits, and limitations;
c. Pause or withdraw from services at any time; and
d. Receive privacy and professional treatment.
4.2 Client Responsibilities:
a. Arrive on time and prepared for all sessions;
b. Communicate cancellations or changes promptly;
c. Use the secure client portal for private or health-related communications;
d. Treat company staff and other participants with respect; and
e. Provide a safe and clean environment for in-home visits.
4.3 Unsafe or unsanitary conditions may result in termination of services. Any remaining balances shall remain the responsibility of the client.
5.1 Lactation Consultations:
a. Provided by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, Certified Lactation Consultants, Certified Lactation Educators, or Registered Lactation Consultants;
b. May include feeding assessments, latch evaluation, milk transfer assessment, pumping, and breastfeeding or chestfeeding support;
c. Consultants do not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical care outside the scope of lactation support; and
d. The company does not guarantee specific results, such as increased milk supply or reduced maternal discomfort, and licensed medical guidance supersedes any plan of care provided by the company.
5.2 Networking, Group Sessions, Workshops, and Educational Events:
a. Are educational and collaborative in nature;
b. Information shared during these events is not medical advice and does not replace professional healthcare guidance; and
c. The company is not responsible for the accuracy of information shared by participants.
5.3 Referrals and Third-Party Services:
a. Issues beyond lactation support shall be referred to licensed healthcare providers;
b. Company staff may notify Child Protective Services, adult protective services, professional licensing boards, or law enforcement if safety concerns arise; and
c. Any referrals or resources provided to third-party providers or organizations are for informational purposes only. The company is not responsible for third-party services or actions.
6.1 One adult support person is allowed per consultation. Additional support persons may be allowed at the discretion of the consultant.
6.2 The client may ask a support person to leave at any time. Sessions may pause or be shortened if necessary.
6.3 Consultants may remove support persons deemed disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe.
6.4 Support persons must act respectfully and cooperatively. The company is not responsible for any support person disclosing health-related or personal information.
6.5 By having a support person present, the client assumes responsibility for the support person’s behavior and any consequences of information sharing.
7.1 By attending any service, the client acknowledges understanding the nature, limitations, and voluntary participation of the session.
7.2 Lactation Consultations:
a. Guidance and care plans are provided within the consultant’s professional scope;
b. Certain aspects may be limited in virtual sessions; and
c. Licensed healthcare provider guidance always supersedes the company’s plan of care.
7.3 Group Sessions, Round Tables, and Workshops: Participation is voluntary. Clients are not required to share personal experiences or information.
8.1 Photos, recordings, or sharing session content without prior written consent is prohibited.
8.2 All materials provided by the company are for personal use only. Redistribution requires written permission.
8.3 All personal and health information must be submitted through the secure client portal. Communications outside the portal are not secure. For additional details on the collection, use, and protection of client information, please refer to the company’s Privacy Policy.
9.1 The company is not responsible for technical failures, connectivity issues, or interruptions during virtual sessions.
9.2 Clients may not record virtual sessions without prior written consent.
9.3 Clients are responsible for providing a private, secure, and appropriate environment for virtual sessions.
10.1 “Telehealth” (also known as Video Therapy, Telephone Counseling, and Virtual Consultation) involves the delivery of consultation services using electronic communications, information technology, or other means between the consultant and the client who are not in the same physical location.
10.2 Telehealth may include:
a. Video Consultations: lactation support via secure video;
b. Telephone Consultations;
c. Electronic Transmission: sharing clinical records, photos, or relevant data;
d. Interactive Communication: real-time audio, video, and/or data interactions;
e. Review of Submitted Materials: assessment of photos, video, sound files, or feeding logs.
10.3 Potential Benefits: convenience, improved access, and continuity of care.
10.4 Potential Risks: incomplete assessment, technical failures, inability to perform hands-on evaluations, potential privacy breaches, and limitations due to regulations by location.
10.5 By using telehealth, clients acknowledge that:
a. Telehealth is evolving and some aspects may not replace in-person care;
b. Results cannot be guaranteed;
c. Clients must inform the consultant of other care interactions;
d. Confidentiality protections apply, but clients must ensure a secure environment;
e. Recording or photographing sessions is prohibited without prior consent;
f. Telehealth services are only provided where the company is authorized to practice;
g. Backup plans exist if technology fails.
11.1 Services are not a substitute for emergency medical care.
11.2 In case of a medical emergency, the client must contact emergency services immediately.
11.3 Consultants may provide general guidance, but licensed healthcare providers supersede all guidance provided by the company.
12.1 Clients must provide a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for in-home visits.
12.2 Children present during consultations must be supervised. Consultants may pause or terminate the session if safety is compromised.
12.3 Any paused time does not extend the length of the session; sessions shall end at the originally allotted time.
13.1 Deposits are required to secure consultations and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
13.2 Appointments are not confirmed until all required forms, documents, and payments have been completed.
13.3 Additional fees may apply for:
a. Multiple infants;
b. Travel;
c. Any portion of the session that exceeds the allotted time.
13.4 Services are considered “started” when the client:
a. Attends a session;
b. Receives handouts, downloads materials, or receives related session materials.
13.5 All packages, classes, workshops, or materials that have been started are non-refundable and non-transferable. Services not started, not used within 365 days, or missed due to no-show or late cancellation are also non-refundable.
13.6 Payment Requirements:
a. Before the first scheduled session, clients must have a valid credit card on file.
b. For private pay clients, co-pays, co-insurances, or deductibles, the company uses a HIPAA and PCI-compliant electronic health record system.
c. Credit cards are used to charge session fees, administrative fees, and any other services rendered, including extended phone calls or professional reports.
d. Fees and prices may change at any time; however, services already purchased will be honored at the original agreed value.
13.7 Insurance:
a. The company does not accept insurance directly;
b. Clients may submit receipts for potential reimbursement;
c. Clients are responsible for confirming coverage and amounts;
d. Assistance with claims may incur additional fees.
13.8 Late Payments and Collections:
a. Payments overdue by more than 30 days may incur interest;
b. Returned checks incur a fee per transaction;
c. Clients are responsible for collection fees and administrative costs.
14.1 Consultations require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
14.2 Workshops, classes, and group sessions require 72 hours notice for partial refunds, less processing fees.
14.3 Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in service restrictions or termination.
15.1 Services’ effectiveness depends on client participation, adherence to recommendations, and external factors beyond the company’s control.
15.2 Following all guidance and recommendations does not guarantee specific results.
16.1 Clients who are minors must have a parent or legal guardian present to provide consent and supervise the client.
16.2 Minors who are pregnant or who are parents may provide consent for their own services and are assumed responsible for their children unless otherwise specified.
17.1 All materials provided by the company remain the exclusive property of the company.
17.2 Materials may not be copied, shared, sold, or modified without prior written permission.
17.3 Third-party materials remain the property of the original owner.
18.1 Guidance is provided for educational and supportive purposes only.
18.2 The company is not responsible for outcomes, losses, or damages.
18.3 The company is not responsible for information, recommendations, or advice obtained from social media platforms, group workshops, or any referrals provided to third parties.
18.4 Clients must consult licensed healthcare providers for medical concerns.
18.5 Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company, its employees, and contractors from all claims, damages, or costs, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
19.1 The company reserves the right to update this agreement at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
19.2 The company may change fees at any time without advertisement. Fees for services already purchased will be honored at the original agreed-upon value.
20.1 For your convenience, Women’s Network for Family and Infant Support, LLC may send text messages and/or emails related to your or your child’s consultations, appointments, and services. These communications may include, but are not limited to:
a. Appointment confirmations and reminders;
b. Scheduling updates or changes;
c. Billing and payment notifications;
d. General service-related information.
20.2 Please note that text messaging and email may not be completely secure. There is a small risk that personal or health information could be accessed without authorization. By providing your contact information, you acknowledge that these communications may be sent to you and accept the associated risks.
20.3 Standard messaging rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. You may withdraw your consent to receive these communications at any time by providing written notice to the Women's Network for Family and Infant Support, LLC.
21.1 You will be asked to complete a Release of Information (ROI) form, which may include authorization for Women’s Network for Family and Infant Support, LLC to:
a. Provide consultation, lactation support, and related services to yourself or your dependent(s);
b. Release and/or receive information and health records to/from relevant providers, institutions, or insurance carriers as necessary to coordinate care, billing, or services;
c. Submit claims and appeal denied claims to your insurance company, if applicable;
d. Release and/or receive information to/from an attorney or employer regarding services provided;
e. Assign payment for medical/services rendered to yourself or your dependent(s).
22.1 I understand that services may not achieve results as desired.
22.2 Outcomes vary depending on personal health, consistency, and infant response.
22.3 No guarantees of specific results, including milk supply or feeding outcomes, are made.
