The first few days of feeding your newborn can feel overwhelming. Many new parents are tired, unsure, and often conflicted by all the advice about breastfeeding or pumping. Scheduling feeds, reading baby cues, and feeling "prepared" can feel impossible.


In our "Hospital Feeding: What to Really Expect" class, we briefly touch on what you'll learn and give you practical guidance to navigate those first days with confidence while managing a realistic feeding schedule, handling conflicting advice, and tips to make feeding less stressful.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Breastfeeding Classes

A breastfeeding class in an educational session that teaches parents how to feed their baby safely and effectively. Classes usually cover topics like proper latching, milk supply, common challenges, and newborn feeding cues. Often taught by lactation consultants, nurses, or trained educator.


These classes are helpful for: Expecting parents, new parents, partners or family members, organizations. 


It's best to attend during the third trimester (around 28-36 weeks) so you have time to practice techniques and ask questions before the baby arrives. Some parents also take refresher classes after birth. 


Registration for classes are completed through Eventbrite.com, click the "Join A Class" tab for registration. Once registered, classes are held through a virtual zoom meeting. Link is provided on event page upon registration. 


We offer a variety of class lengths to meet different needs, but most of our classes typically last about 30 minutes.  This makes it easy for parents to drop in for targeted learning without needing to commit to long sessions.Interested in longer classes or personalized support text 813-502-2002.

Refunds are typically offered if you cancel the class 48 hours in advance, as noted in the class descriptions. Cancellations and missed classes made less than 48 hours before the class are non-refundable.
